Multiple pens

Choose from eight pens, including gel, nib, italic, watercolour and pencil and unlimited line thicknesses.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks allow you save views in your documents, and then return to them at a later date. There are animated playback facilitates to allow you to create presentations or to create videos from your document.

Handwriting search

Type in a keyword and search your handwritten notes. Each match will be highlighted and you can quickly navigate to its page and position. Perform this search with an document or on all your documents.

Handwriting to text

Select some handwriting and choose ‘Convert to text’. The handwriting will be converted to the equivalent text. You can also drag and drop handwriting out of ZoomNotes and into another app and the handwriting will automatically be converted into text.

Magnification window

Write into a zoomed in view whilst still viewing the zoomed out view. With auto-advance for both left to right and right to left cursive writing. Perfect for smaller devices like the iPad Mini and iPhone.

Sub-pages

This unique feature allows you to use ‘pages within pages’. This allows you to use sticky-notes and enables the creation of hierarchical visual files. You can also insert whole PDF files as sub-pages, or import pages from other ZoomNotes documents into a sub-page.

Unlimited zoom

Zoom in and out without arbitrary limits, including rotated views.

Import PDF, MS Doc, PPT files

Import and write over PDFs, Microsoft Office files Word, Excel and PowerPoint (via GoogleDrive).

Unlimited colours

65 million colours are available for pens and text. Now controlled with our new ‘Colour Manager’. Sort your colours into re-useable palettes, and import palettes from colourlovers.com. Edit your colours using RGB, HSV and out new unique ‘colour mixer’.

Digital Planners

In ZoomNotes, instantly create a digital planner for any year, customise it and even add your own links. Alternatively import one of the many commercially available PDF Digital Planner documents.

Shapes and arrows

Regular shapes and arrows (ideal for visual mapping); they can be drawn with the polygon tool or roughly drawn by hand and automatically converted into the exact geometric shape.

Symbol library

Fully configurable library of reusable shapes and images. Simply select some drawing elements and choose ‘Add symbol’.

Images and image editing

Insert images (photos) in your documents at any size and scale. Use the image editing tools to crop, mask, re-sample, scan-correct and deform.   Insert images and videos from camera or photo library. Insert web pages.

Typed text

Enter typed text via keyboard (including bluetooth keyboards); with a wide range of fonts and font sizes, font colours, fills and borders. Text can be entered at all zoom scales and can be selected and moved, scaled and rotated as all drawing elements in ZoomNotes.

Split screen

Edit 2 documents side-by-side (or above and below).

Unlimited paper styles and types

Make your page as small or as large as you like.  Choose any type of paper with our configurable paper types.

Geo-referenced documents

You can optionally geo-reference your documents and display them as pins on a map – perfect when certain notes relate to places.

Use for presentations

ZoomNotes is VGA compatible for use with projectors, monitors and AirPlay. The ‘Bookmarks’ feature is an ideal presentation tool allowing you to navigate through a document.
